Northwest Mo Area Agency on Aging - One of ten planning and service organizations for the elderly in Missouri. The primary purposes are to Plan, coordinate, fund and monitor services and programs fir senior citizens in the 18 counties o f Northwest Missouri. The AAA's goal is to encourage, assist and promote the independence and happiness of all older people with roots in Missouri. |

Services and Programs offered include: Senior Centers, Congregate/Home Delivered meals, Speaker service, Legal services, In-home services, Nursing home ombudsman, Information and Assistance, National family caregiver support program, Older American Community service employment program (OACSEP), and Transportation. |

| Albany Senior Center - Located at 209 West Clay in Albany. Crafts are music are available and is open from 9-4 pm 6 days a week and run by volunteers. A pool league is available and card games are always happening! Meals are not usually served but lunch on Friday is potluck. Call 660-726-5645 for more information. Everyone 50 and over is welcome and encouraged to come and socialized! |
